Esther Platform ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
Account information
Name, email address, and password when you create an account.
Church data
Church name, subdomain, branding, and configuration you provide during onboarding and ongoing use.
Planning Center data
When you connect Planning Center, we access people records, events, forms, groups, services, check-ins, registrations, and workflows via the Planning Center API on your behalf. This data is used to provide the Service and is not shared with third parties.
Usage data
Server logs, error reports, and feature usage to help us improve the Service.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure
- To sync data between Esther Platform and Planning Center
- To communicate about your account, updates, and support
- To diagnose technical issues and improve reliability
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Auth) with encryption at rest and in transit. We follow industry-standard security practices. Planning Center OAuth tokens are stored encrypted in Firestore and used only to fulfill API requests on your behalf.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data with:
- Google Firebase — infrastructure and authentication
- Planning Center — your authorized integration
- Stripe — payment processing (billing details only)
We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights.

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. With your consent, we may use additional cookies for analytics. See our Cookie Policy for full details and to manage your preferences.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To export or delete your account and associated data, contact us at privacy@esther.church. We will respond within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or prominent notice in the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
